Located in Turangi at the southern end of Lake Taupo (Central North Island New Zealand, NZ) 200 meters from the famous Tongariro River, great fly fishing for big Rainbow and Brown Trout, Judges Pool Motel offers clean, comfortable, quite and affordable accommodation.
We are close to all outdoor activities, World Heritage Tongariro National Park, Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Lake Taupo, Mount Ruapehu (Whakapapa Ski Fields), white water rafting or kayaking down the famous Tongariro river, mountain biking and horse riding, just to list a few. We can arrange all the above with pickup from the front door.
Our accommodation offers nine one and two bedroom fully self contained units sleeping 4-6. Each unit with separate bedroom and the one bedroom units have there own back outside deck. We have, undercover parking. wall mounted flat screen TV’s, Sky Television high speed wireless internet, internet kiosk, cots and high chairs, telephones in all units, big undercover and heated BBQ area with fish smoker outdoor chairs and tables for your dining pleasure, fish cleaning facilities and guest laundry with washing and drying machine. No traffic noise. We are away from the highway.
